Roses & More, Inc. ~ Giving new meaning in the Inland Northwest to the phrase “Flower Power”.

The wholesale-floral operation started in 1939 by Rosedale Greenhouse Inc., dba David L. Jones Wholesale, based in the heart of downtown Spokane’s flower market for 36 years. In 1973 the wholesale had to move its location due to the ‘74 World Fair. Jones Wholesale settled into a building in downtown Spokane’s east end and would become home to the wholesale for more than 30 years. The 27,000-square-foot building, which covered the southern portion of a city block, was comprised of seven buildings that had been melded together by knocking down the connecting walls over the years.

After 64 years, Jones Wholesale was bought in August of 2003 and at that time changed the name to Roses & More, the Floral Distribution Company, locally owned and operated. This would give way to the wholesale becoming more modernized with the launch of a website, its own fleet of delivery vehicles and a new computer system.

To better serve our Montana customers, we opened the doors to Roses & More’s Missoula, Montana Transfer Station in February of 2005.

In March of 2005, we expanded our website to feature e-commerce, the ability for our customers to view products available and place orders online, thus truly making us a leader in the floral wholesale industry.

Roses & More bought the assets of its largest competitor, Spokane Flower Growers dba Glacier Mountain Floral Suppliers, in June of 2005, and folded that operation into its own.  Roses & More, Inc. already the largest wholesaler in the Inland Northwest now became the dominant floral wholesaler of the area. The Glacier Mountain acquisition was an ideal way for Roses & More to enhance our current service areas and further our commitment to customer satisfaction in the territory that we already served.

In June of 2006 Roses & More purchased the assets of Harris Wholesale, of Victor, Montana. This gave Roses & More a stronger position in Montana and expanded its territory into Southeast Idaho.

To better serve our Idaho customers, we opened the doors to Roses & More’s Boise, Idaho Transfer Station in October of 2006.

In January of 2008 Roses & More moved headquarters from downtown Spokane to a larger building, a 44,000-square-foot space, in the Spokane Valley to accommodate our growth.

In March of 2012 Roses & More purchased the assets of Greenleaf Wholesale, of Boise, Idaho. This gave Roses & More a stronger position in Idaho and expanded its territory into Sun Valley, Idaho.
